Miami, Etobicoke, Toronto and North York Condos & Home Knspection Sarasota

These days you can find condos just about anywhere. There are Etobicoke condominiums and Vancouver condominiums and New York condominiums and even Oklahoma City condominiums. But Florida really pioneered the concept of the condominium and it is there that you will find the most condominiums. If you're thinking of retiring to Miami and are wondering what sort of amenities and prices to expect, this article should help you learn what to expect.

First of all, if you're used to buying and selling real estate in Canada, you're going to be in for a shock. Even luxury condos in Toronto don't really come close to what you'll have to pay to own a condo property in Miami. The average listing price for a Miami property is only a few thousand dollars less than half a million, and if you want a luxury place on the beach, you could end up paying around 14 million dollars! And that's not even including the $100+ per month that you'll have to pay in condo fees.

However, if you're on a budget this doesn't mean you can't afford the city. If you're willing to settle for a tiny foreclosure that's not near anything useful, you can pick up a property for under $20,000. You can't even get a home inspection, Sarasota for that. Your best bet if you want a good deal is to hook up with a Miami real estate agent who can ferret out the best deals for you. Now is the best time to buy, as the Canadian dollar is up and Miami still hasn't fully recovered from the recession-induced real estate slump.

In terms of amenities, many Miami condo complexes offer more in the way of amenities than any North York condominiums would. When people move to Florida, they want access to the water, so even if your complex is not near the beach, you will still likely have a community outdoor pool. Since many condo complexes cater to retired seniors, you are also more likely to have shuffleboard facilities and a hot tub than a media room or a movie theater.

As with any piece of real estate, you should never buy College Park condos in Miami unless you've looked it over yourself and have had a building inspector look at it. Even though a condo is part of a whole, it can still fall into disrepair from owner negligence.
